Advance Program · Madness

CSCW 2011 authors are invited to participate in the CSCW Madness sessions. CSCW Madness is a unique opportunity to present a summary of your submission in a plenary format at CSCW 2011.

  1. Madness presentations can be submitted as 1 PowerPoint slide OR a 25-second video in .wmv, .mp4, or .mov format.
    1 PowerPoint slide using PowerPoint 2007 or 2010. Presenters should plan on speaking for a maximum of 25 seconds. The 25-second time limit will be strictly enforced. OR a 25-second video in either .mov (for Mac users) or .wmv format (for Windows users) or .mp4 (for Linux users). Presenters will still be asked to attend the Madness session and be present at the podium while the video plays.
    The file (slide or video) should be named with the following convention: SessionTitle_YourLastname_ShortTitle

  2. Deadline for Madness submissions is extended to Friday, 11 March 2011. We highly encourage early submissions.
  3. Please note that you not required to submit to the Madness session. We encourage light-hearted, but culturally-sensitive and not overly culturally-specific, presentations.
